This training course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and its practical applications across various sectors. The course covers fundamental AI concepts, practical exercises, and detailed insights into the ethical and societal implications of AI. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to understand AI technologies and their impact, empowering them to use AI responsibly and effectively in their respective fields.
The Artificial Intelligence course offers a comprehensive overview of AI technologies, with a focus on their application in the Italian context. It aims to respond to the rapid transformations generated by AI, which is significantly influencing production models and economic relations in sectors such as industry, healthcare, finance, and public administration. Italy is outlining a strategic action plan to enhance its entrepreneurial and social fabric and promote an innovative and sustainable use of AI.
The course begins with an introduction to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks. Participants will learn about the history of artificial intelligence, its evolution, and its fundamental theories. The course also explores the practical applications of artificial intelligence, demonstrating how artificial intelligence technologies are used in industries such as manufacturing, security, healthcare, and finance to solve real-world problems and optimize performance.
The course aims to rigorously analyze the European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (AI Act, EU 2024/1689), the first complex and organic body of legislation regulating its use in the European Union’s single market. This Regulation promotes human-centric artificial intelligence that respects fundamental rights, introduces a risk classification system, and defines compliance obligations to ensure the safety, transparency, and integrity of AI systems.
